Member Testimonials

The resources were incredible because they captured my class’ love of reading. The selection of resources and books are well thought through for introducing my class to different genres of books. My class have become more confident in choosing their own texts because they have had a taster of some excellent books, which they wanted to continue to read. It was lovely to see the lower ability children access the texts with their reading partners, as this allowed them to develop their comprehension skills.

I love them! They are so easy to follow and are very challenging, while also being varied and interesting for the children.

Common Questions

Our progression map indicates whether a resource uses a whole text or an extract. Wherever possible, we have included extracts, especially for ‘dip in’ resources, but we also recommend having a copy of the complete book available. This allows you to show the children the real text and helps encourage them to go on and read the full book independently.

Our main resource library allows you to browse comprehension resources by suggested year group, however, teachers may use their professional judgement to decide if a resource is appropriate for their cohort.

Each of our reading skills compliments a requirement in the KS2 National Curriculum for reading. You can find out more about our readings skills and how they directly correlate:
